This September, Cloud 9 Foot Spa was excited to join the Redmond community for the Arts in the Park concert series and pop-up event! Held at Downtown Redmond Park, Arts in the Park brings the community together for an afternoon of live music, local vendors and connection. We loved being part of the festivities and introducing attendees to Cloud 9’s relaxing services and the many ways we help our community unwind and recharge.
Two Saturdays, Two Cloud 9 Teams
Arts in the Park took place on Saturdays throughout September, and we were honored to participate on September 5th and again on September 26th, this time alongside our Issaquah team! We connected with new faces and introduced attendees to the care and thoughtfulness behind Cloud 9’s services. To celebrate the occasion, we handed out coupons for both our Redmond and Issaquah locations and hosted a raffle for a complimentary one-hour foot massage.
Sharing What Makes Cloud 9 Special
I loved teaching potential new clients about our different services, the importance behind them, and how we operate as a family-friendly spa. It was so rewarding to answer everyone’s questions and learn about what people might need in their wellness routines.
Fun for Our Littlest Visitors
Little ones also stopped by to pick up our Pax the Penguin coloring books and crayons, along with complimentary water to stay hydrated. The event was a wonderful opportunity to build community connections, introduce more people to Cloud 9 and help spread the word about our services across both locations.
A Special Moment with Pax the Penguin
We also had our new children’s book, The Dreams of the Penguins, on display, and it caught the attention of many visitors as they approached our booth. One community member was flipping through the book when she spotted Pax the Penguin and immediately lit up with excitement. Her grandson is named Paxton! The coincidence was so special that she decided to purchase a copy for her family to enjoy. Moments like these made the event even more memorable and reminded us how meaningful small connections within our community can be.
Familiar Faces in a New Setting
Although it was exciting to meet new people and introduce them to Cloud 9, we also loved seeing familiar faces who took the time to stop by! It was fun connecting with a few of our current clients in a different setting and reminiscing about their experiences.
At one point, I spotted a client in the distance who happened to recognize me, too. Excited to see our booth, he walked over and began sharing his favorite massages with us. We chatted about his visits before he grabbed some coupons and entered the raffle for a complimentary one-hour foot massage. Another family who frequently visits Cloud 9 even purchased a 10-pack of their favorite massage during the event! It was wonderful to see our clients’ continued support and enthusiasm for Cloud 9.

Overall, our Redmond and Issaquah teams had a great time at Arts in the Park, and we can’t wait to join the community for more events in the future. We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth, and we look forward to seeing new faces in our spas!
